Hem Shoe

EBecause the wheel runs up on to the shoe so that the wheel
@load presses down to stop the wheel, the braking effect is
@high.
EMounting is easy.
ESince the wheel holder is a movable fastener, the overrun
@phenomenon will occur infrequently.
EDuring braking, a chattering vibration will be generated to
@give notification that braking is taking place.
EIn particular, annual maintenance and adjustment will not be
@necessary.
@(Hem shoes that have been subject to overrun, causing a
@change in shape, will require re-adjustment.)
EDue to the productfs white color (yellow color in regions
@subject to snowfall), its presence can be recognized from a
@distance.
EIf the hem shoe is applied to both rails, the overrun
@phenomenon will not occur since the wheel rotation will be
@stopped.
Applications
This is a tool for preventing rolling stock overrun when shunting rolling stock in yards.
It should be used inside installed scotch blocks to prevent vehicles from exceeding the rolling stock boundaries.
The braking distance will differ depending on the rolling stock form and the rolling stock group.
